Mary Magdalene was a Myrrhophore.
The Myrrhbearers or Myrrhophores where an ancient tradition of mystic women, priestesses and mistresses of the Sacred Oils.
The title Myrrhbearer implies the use of Myrrh, an ancient tree resin from which a Sacred Oil was distilled in very ancient prebiblical time. Myrrh is mentioned in the bible and in many ancient Egyptian texts and temple’s walls as one of the Sacred aromatic ingredients applied in the process of mummification, magic and temple rituals.
The Myrrhophores mastered the knowledge and application of the Sacred Oils for their spiritual and esoteric significance and powers, for healing, for anointing sacraments and sacred rituals including the anointing of those transpassing the threshold to the spirit realm. To experience spiritual awakening, transfiguration and elevare to cosmic/divine consciousness.
Mary Magdalena (Myriam of Magdala) was a highly advanced Myrrhophore from the temple and magic tradition of Isis... so it was Hatshepsut, Nefertari and, I believe, all Queens of Egypt were high initiates to this sacred knowledge and skills.
Mary Magdalena is well known for the anointing of Christ. Christ (meaning the Anointed One from the Greek word chīstós, derived from the Greek verb chrīō meaning precisely”to anoint”! The translation derived from the Hebrew Mašíah, messiah meaning “-one who is- anointed”.
Created with devotion and commitment to the Myrrhophore path for 9 years, it has been a great honour to channel and craft a Sacred Oil dedicated to beloved Mary Magdalene.
Why almond oil:
ALMOND oil was considered a holy oil used in the coronation ceremony to anoint the pharaoh in becoming Horus, the living Osiris/Christ – Christ means the anointed* Considered the fruit of immortality and often used in ritual, Almonds were associated with consciousness and the power of the mind
AMYGDALUS Amygdalus is the botanical Latin name for almond tree
AMYGDALA, the seat of the emotions, is a little almond shaped structure in the limbic system. amygdala is derived from the Greek word amygdale, meaning “almond,”.
MAGDALA (Migdal) in Hebrew means “tower”, ” elevated, high, magnificent, great”. Magdalene may well be an honorific from the Hebrew and Aramaic roots for "tower" or "magnified." A name indicative of Mary Magdalen’s “magnification/exaltation: “ tower of strength”. “tower to the heavens” would symbolically signify the pathway to higher consciousness towards ascension, Activation of the Conception of Light.
